I joined the staff of St. Marks UMC as Associate Pastor in January 2024. I am beyond blessed to serve with my wonderful wife, Anna McGough, our Director of Children and Family Ministries. I strive to live out The Greatest Commandment as we hear it from Jesus: “Love God and Love Everybody Else.” My passion is to walk with others as we seek to not just attend church but to be the Church, as we seek to share the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ with a world that so badly needs to see, hear, and feel His presence.
I received my undergraduate degree in business management from Jackson State University and my Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary. I have had the opportunity to serve several United Methodist Churches around our state in my 15 years of ministry, whether as a Youth, Associate, or Head Pastor. I am grateful for the Crossgates, Broadmeadow, Minor Memorial, Philadelphia, Henry’s Chapel, Pearl, Independence, and Forest congregations for how they have shaped me into the man and pastor I am today.
When I am not working, I am probably spending time with my wonderful Australian Shepherd, Rory, or traveling.
In a tough and divided world, I pray that we can always remember, “The Best of All is…. God is With Us.”
