Reformation Sunday- 11th Hour, St Mark’s United Methodist Church

Notes:

In 1517 on October 31, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. The first of these stated that the practice of indulgences, the giving of money to the Church for the forgiveness of sins, was not the true gospel. As a result of his teachings, Luther was excommunicated by The Catholic Church and declared an outlaw. Pastor Jeff Nesbit teaches from Psalm 118:17 which was Luther's personal motto and Pastor Jeff suggests that this scripture be made a part of our life motto. Stephen Craig leads the congregation and Praise team in songs of worship.
