Dennis is originally from extreme West Texas. El Paso, to be exact. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University at Roswell and Belhaven University. He worked for GE as a Field Engineer in various locations and assignments for GE Healthcare for 36 years. Dennis grew up in the technical ministries of the church starting back in high school. He was also an active part of the technical ministries of United Methodist churches in Southeastern New Mexico, West Texas and Central Mississippi.
Dennis is now Coordinating Technical and Media ministries at St. Mark’s. Dennis and Jan Smith work with St. Mark’s wonderful team of volunteers to make sure the video and sound systems are properly loaded and working for worship.
He is married to Kay and they have a daughter, Sarah Beth, who attends Hines Community College-Rankin Campus. They have lived in Brandon area since 1999.
